The Winlog32 Forum is a large and useful resource built up over many years, a particular problem or query may have been encountered before, a simple search may provide the answer, or you may ask a question once registered with the Forum - there is a very simple and immediate registration process.

If you are going to report a problem, ask a question or report a potential bug, then it is very important that you state the following information:

  • Current Winlog Version, from Winlog32 title bar or from the menu/Help/'About' Window)
  • Your Windows operating system (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista/W7/W8/W10/W11)
  • Step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce your problem. It helps the author to be able to see the error for himself or at least know exactly at what point and what you are doing when the problem occurred. The more details you provide, the more accurate the response will be.

If the above information is not included in your email - it is likely that a response requesting this information may be made before proceeding, so it saves time for everyone to include this!
